Her stunning piece, Secret Beach Te Puru, captivated the judges with its breathtaking texture, movement, and masterful use of thread as paint. 🌊🧵 The judges praised its ability to bridge the worlds of textile, painting, and photography while beautifully capturing a special landscape.

Join our flax weaving workshop with Sharon Pearce and learn how to weave flax flowers. Sharon observes Maori tikanga (protocols) and teaches students how to harvest and prepare Harakeke (Flax) for weaving.
