Advanced Pen and Wash

Join tutor Loretta for an engaging Pen and Wash workshop that builds upon the skills developed in our previous session while remaining accessible for beginners. This workshop is designed to inspire creativity and enhance your artistic techniques using a combination of pen drawing and watercolor wash.

During the workshop, participants will:

• Learn techniques for combining pen drawing with watercolor washes.

• Explore different styles and approaches to enhance your artwork.

• Receive guidance on how to interpret your chosen images into pen and wash compositions.

• Engage in hands-on practice, with step-by-step instructions from the instructor.

Participants are encouraged to bring images from home that inspire them. These could be photographs, sketches, or any visual material that resonates with your artistic vision. This personal touch will help guide your creative process throughout the workshop.

Pens are available for $5 each from the tutor. Some materials are provided but please feel free to bring your own paintbrushes, watercolours and watercolour paper.
