Life Drawing with Horses

Join tutor Abi for an inspiring Horse Life Drawing Workshop, where artists of all levels can enhance their skills and learn to capture the beauty and grace of horses on paper.

With Tama as our model, you will get hands on learning as we go through the form and flow of the horse. Once we are comfortable with the general form we will explore a couple of short poses as we gently take Tama through some small stretches.

For those who want to dig a little deeper there will be anatomical models which we will explore so we can understand what we are seeing below the surface, and (weather permitting) towards the end we will see a horse in motion as Tama shows us the rhythms of walk and trot.

Bring whatever drawing materials you want to use, or borrow a pencil or pen from my stash.

Remember to be sun smart! There is cover and sunscreen will be provided.
